Penguin Composites is a family-owned Tasmanian business since 1976. Penguin Composites have an extremely large and wide product range that is shipped all over the world. With our amazing team we manufacture Igloos for Polar regions, CAT parts, Mining Parts, Australian Defence vehicle components, Islander Campers, Bus parts, Boat parts, Rowing sculls as well as repairs in RV/Caravans and Boats. Our team make fibreglass through a range of techniques of hand lamination, injection, silicone bagging as well as provide full spray-painting services as well. The exciting part is we have a large CNC machine and also a 7-axis robot we use for trimming as well.
About the role
The Penguin Composite team is supported in learning many areas of the business and move around as necessary. For candidates with punctuality, enthusiasm, and a great attitude, we will provide training and encourage further learning through courses in lean manufacturing and apprenticeships. Applicants with experience in spray painting and/or composite processes are preferred, but this is not essential.

Skills and experience
Spray Painting experience/qualification preferred
Composite experience preferred but not essential.
Minimum trade skills with hand tools.
