About the Team

Our ACAS/RAS team is a multidisciplinary team based at the Centre for Older Persons Health in Shepparton. RAS provides a home assessment to the 65+ population or Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander population 50+ living in the Local Government Area of Greater Shepparton and ACAS provides a comprehensive assessment to the 65+ population or Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander population 50+ living in the Local Government Areas of Greater Shepparton, Moira, Strathbogie, Mitchell & Murrindindi.

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and self motivated person to join our highly functioning team as a Computer Clerk. The role of the Computer Clerk is to provide a high standard of reception and administrative support to the assessment program.  This role is pivotal in assisting the assessment clinicians to provide a responsive and efficient service by ensuring all administrative tasks are prioritised and processed in a timely manner.

The successful applicant will have well-developed time management and problem solving skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and within a team environment. The successful applicant will also be required to work additional hours at times to cover leave arrangements

We are looking for:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills including accurate data entry, electronic database management and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records, reports, letters and documentation
