An exciting role exists with for a Plant Manager for our CONCRETE PLANTs in the Geelong region.
Reporting to the Area Manager, the successful candidate is responsible for ensuring that the Geelong business, including people and plant, is operating at high efficiency, safely and in an environmentally conscious manner to provide the best possible outcome for our customers.
Applicants with the following attributes will be favourably considered, with the right candidate offered training:
- Proven hands-on premixed concrete industry experience will be highly regarded, however training will be provided for the right applicant.
- Do you have demonstrated natural ability to provide leadership and guidance to your team?
- Do you have the ability to maintain safety, technical, environmental and quality industry standards.
- Do you have excellent organisational and problem solving skills.
- Can you lead and motivate a team of plant personnel and sub-contractors to work safely and productively towards the same goals?
- Do you always strive to improve the production process and the quality of materials produced?
- Can you identify areas for improvement and provide training for your team as required?
- Are you hands-on and willing to lend a hand at every opportunity, leading the business by example?
- Do you have experience in plant maintenance and implementing preventative maintenance schedules?
- Do you have sales experience and ability to develop customer relationships to proactively source new business and manage customer accounts through retention and generation of revenue.
- Can you champion a positive safety culture and ensure procedures are appropriately adopted and documented?
