The Gallery, Gosford’s brand-new Conference and Events Centre, is seeking a fun, energetic go-getter to join our team and lead the way in providing exceptional experiences in our new hospitality venue.

Who we are:
Right now, we are one of the most successful hospitality businesses on the NSW Central Coast, which is why we have built a brand-new venue to push the boundaries even further. This multi-story venue, with capacity for over 2000 patrons, has immediately become an iconic landmark to locals and visitors alike.
The upper floor houses a brand-new Conference and Events Centre known as The Gallery, with seated dining capacity of up to 500 guests.
For those of you who don’t know, Gosford is just an hour north of Sydney and is surrounded by beautiful beaches, waterways and national parks. The area is really booming but cost of living is still a fraction of Sydney’s. The Central Coast is an awesome place to live & work!
What you’ll be doing?
- Ready for some training? Firstly, alongside the Conference and Events manager you will train the team in quality and service standards so that they have all the necessary skills and knowledge to perform at their best.
- Together, we will set performance standards and targets for our team. This will not only motivate the team, but it will also help us achieve excellence in our services.
- You’ll need to exhibit a sense of pride in your work, ensuring the flawless execution of events from the initial preparation of the room, event execution and the final bump out.
- Time management is a crucial element to this role. We need you to be fast like the flash but as smooth as aqua man on the water. This ensures the event is run to time whilst maintaining that same quality of service.
- Attention to detail is the key to success. Checking Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) is vital to ensuring a smooth, problem free event.
- On that topic, we don’t have problems here; we have opportunities for solutions. It’s a team effort and we are all here to support one another.
- Team work really does make the dream work so communication is paramount. You’ll be communicating with Chefs, Functions Team, Clients and more for each event. This ensures seamless coordination between the front and back of house teams.
- Presentation really does matter. Ensure that all functions staff are well presented in accordance with club policy.
- Food and Beverage attendants will provide delegates and guests with prompt and attentive services. We go the extra mile by paying attention to even the smallest of details and give personal recognition to everyone.
- Make every client feel special and ensure they have an exceptional experience with us. A good service standard can make or break a returning client.
- Represent Gosford RSL Club as a brand ambassador, embodying our values and our mission.
- Preparation is key. Preparing for an incoming event is essential to ensure a smooth and trouble-free experience.
What we need you to have:
- Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol competency card.
Any other qualifications that relate to conference, events and hospitality are desired but not essential!
