UGL Defence recently commenced the Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels Network. We are recruiting a Configuration Manager to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
The Role
As the Configuration Manager, you will set up and implement the configuration management system and processes for the Defence Fuels Network. This role is responsible for, but not limited to:
Maintaining the integrity, traceability and accuracy of all project deliverables and associated documentation
Supporting the project to maintain accurate records and status reports of config items through their lifecycle
Effective administration of the Configuration Control Board and provide guidance on the MOC process to ensure compliance
The design and delivery of CMS using SAP and the Configuration Status Accounting Reports (CSAR)
Coordinate the release and deployment of configuration items and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication
Identify opportunities to continuously improve and streamline configuration management function

Degree qualified in Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant field
In depth knowledge of configuration management principles, practices and standards
Familiarity with Defence industry requirements OR Oil & Gas or similar petrochemical environment, will be highly regarded
Working experience operating in management tools and software, SAP preferred
Currently holds, or ability to obtain required security clearance
