As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in their project planning and execution, contributing to the success of our company's construction endeavours. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in accurately estimating construction costs, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for current and new construction projects
- Assist and conduct thorough material and labour take-offs, including quantifying and pricing of various project components
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and bids for project requirements
- A degree or tertiary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience as an estimator in the commercial or residential construction industry
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software and tools, as well as a strong understanding of construction industry standards and practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience circa $150,000 pa
