We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated Civil Estimator join our busy Projects Team on a permanent full-time basis. 

WGQ provides civil and site services support to the mining, civil construction and renewable energy industries in Queensland.

Civil Estimator

To be successful in the role, you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role, including the following:

• Review & estimate tender documents, including drawings, SOW, BOW, technical specifications & standards
• Prepare cost analysis for projects
• Prepare material take-offs
• Complete preliminary construction program
• Liaise with suppliers & subcontractors for best pricing
• Liaise with Project Team for review of tender proposals
• Prepare & deliver tender proposals
• Ensure timely completion of cost estimates by due date
• Carry out cost audits during project execution and attend meetings as required
• Work closely with our Blackwater-based team
• Current driver’s licence 
• Current Standard 11 Surface Generic Mining Induction and Coal Board Medical 
• Current Construction Industry Induction (White Card) or able to rapidly acquire

• Rockhampton-based role
• Monday to Friday dayshift roster - approx. 48 to 56 hours per week
• Full-time permanent role
• Some travel may be required - e.g. Blackwater / Central Qld / Qld
