Qualifications & experience
- • 3+ years’ experience in construction estimating
- • Impeccable problem-solving skills
- • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- • Strong understanding of residential construction processes
- • Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
- • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, applied science, civil engineering or related field
- Be able to complete tender submission on online portals with all requirements by council/clients on Quality Safety and Environment
- We are a competitive Civil Construction contractor in a highly competitive field, therefore excellent work ethic is required along with efficient output
- Be familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 4500 requirements which are the industry standards and in our IMS Systems
Tasks & responsibilities
- • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- • Review and evaluate cost estimates
- • Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
- • Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
- • Ensure timely completion of estimates
- • Understand scope of work to bid
- • Manage bid pricing from all vendors
- • Prepare cost analysis
- • Prepare and submit cost evaluation and all relevant QSE responses
- • Familiarise with our IMS System and keep updated for competitive pricing and tender submissions
