The Construction Manager will play a critical role in the successful execution of this bulk earthworks and remediation project. Working remotely and collaborating with the project team, the Construction Manager will be working on a 2:1 roster as the B2B for the Project Manager. Immediate Start.
Duties:
- Overseeing of day to day operations on site in consultation with Project Managers and Supervisors.
- Assisting in Coordinating all plant and equipment across projects in conjunction with Supervisors, Project Managers and Management.
- Champion safety, quality, and environment culture onsite in line with the clients safety culture.
- Facilitate, coach and monitor activities to reduce risk i.e., work method statements, workplace inspections, audits, investigation, and risk registers.
- Focus on putting together variations, producing claims, programmes and further related duties
- Ensure HSEQ compliance/reporting is achieved and communicate any changes to relevant policies and procedures.
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction industry.
- Experience such as earthworks/bulk earthworks, drainage, grading, roads, piping, trenching, tailings etc.
- Must be BHP Inducted
- Current C’ Class Drivers Licence.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- Strong people management skills.
- Hardworking, reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
