Safety Barriers WA is one of WA’s biggest suppliers and installers of roadside and warehouse safety barrier systems.
We are looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our dynamic project management team here in Bayswater.
Key responsibilities include:
Project Planning, Scheduling and Coordination
- Liaise with Clients to understand project requirements.
- Schedule personnel, allocate internal resources and procure materials and services necessary for project implementation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Progress Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as needed.
- Prepare progress report end of month.
Contract Administration
- Assist in contract negotiation and review.
- Resolve disputes and ensure that all parties fulfil their contractual obligations.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Proactively address issues related to safety, environmental impact, regulatory compliance, and other project-related risks.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure the quality management system is implemented, understood, and maintained.
- Preparation of ITPs, SWMS, JSA as needed.
- Ensure all inspections are carried out as per ITPs and approved.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure the safety protocols are implemented and enforced to maintain a safe work environment for all project personnel.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
Essential candidate criteria:
- Minimum 2 years experience with similar role.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to direct, motivate and lead.
- Ability to plan and manage project deliverable.
- Ability to coordinate the project in its entirety.
- Strong working knowledge of construction methodologies.
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations, codes, and best practices.
- Knowledge of Main Roads (MRWA) specifications & standards.
- Motivated and enthusiastic work ethic with a high degree of integrity.
