We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Manager to lead our Site Alfabs Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and coordinating the construction activities of Alfabs Engineering. This role plays a critical part in fostering a culture consistent with the Alfabs Values and Behaviors while ensuring the safety-first culture and producing exceptional construction services products.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Lead the Site Alfabs Engineering Team to achieve construction performance goals.
- Directly oversee the management of the Alfabs Engineering Construction Team and resources for site construction services.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Project Delivery Manager & Project Managers to plan and execute major construction projects.
- Manage and support the construction team supervisors and superintendents in their duties.
- Uphold a safe and healthy workplace, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, and workplace standards.
- Work closely with the Engineering Estimating Team to review large construction tenders and provide construction methodology support for the development of tenders.
- Champion a safety-first culture across the Site engineering team.
- Ensure the provision of ample resources (equipment and personnel) for the safe and successful delivery of projects and jobs.
- Lead as the site construction subject matter expert in partnership with the business key stakeholders.
About You:
- Hold Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience appropriate to the responsibilities of the position.
- Minimum of 10 years management experience working on construction, engineering projects, or similar.
- Strong background dealing with contractor organisation and enforcing compliance with HSEQ performance measures.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a large construction team to achieve construction performance goals.
