CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - GYMPIE

THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Managing Directors, this exciting and challenging role will see you manage all aspects of CavSheds building projects including:
- Managing and delivering on projects
- Managing WHS, Environmental and Quality systems for the work group and subcontractors
- Providing leadership, communication and supervision to all employees and subcontractors
- Managing key customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure the agreed services are delivered in a timely manner
- Planning and coordinating the works allocated and managing the overall performance of the work group
- Ensuring construction schedule and budgets are achieved,
- Providing experience and guidance to improve safety, budgets, processes and any other continuous improvement opportunity
- Takeoffs and Project planning to ensure smooth running of Administration and Construction teams
ABOUT YOU
- A positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers;
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills;
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in general construction, with good understanding of building with steel;
- Experience in supervising construction projects with a high level of time management & organisational skills;
- Capability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Aptitude to learn Project software to support role
- Strong Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge
- Thorough understanding of safety procedures and recognition of hazards
