Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is working with the State Government to secure an AO7 Project Manager for a casual-based contract opportunity in the Brisbane CBD contracting through our agency. On offer is an initial 6-month casual-based contract, with a project scope of 18 months. This position is immediately available and actively interviewing.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the departments interests in the design, development, and completion of key projects around Brisbane.
Please note, domestic and international travel may be required for the successful applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level strategic direction and quality leadership in the analysis, design, development, and timely implementation of major aviation project deliverables and business strategies.
- Lead and drive high-level project activities in accordance with the Governmenst best practice using contemporary project management methodology.
- Produce regular project status and financial reports to management and committees and prepare, review, and present project reports, briefings, submissions, and other correspondence.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with business governance processes for organisational change, capability, and resource management.
- Represent the project team in organisational, industry, and multiagency government forums relating to aviation projects.
- Provide guidance to project stakeholders to facilitate informed business decisions that improve business processes and meet changing and challenging business needs.
- Maintain a work environment committed to professional standards, ethical practices, and discipline consistent with strategic organisational objectives.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Large Corporate or Government organisation
- Qualifications and demonstrated experience in project management
- Experience designing and implementing programs and processes
- Current drivers licence
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
