We're searching for a skilled Construction Manager to oversee our projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With your expertise and leadership, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of wastewater management in Australia.Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Lead the construction of wastewater treatment plants, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Australian Experience: Utilize your expertise in Australian wastewater treatment plant construction to navigate regulatory requirements, environmental considerations, and local best practices.
- Brownfield Experience: While not mandatory, experience in brownfield construction projects is preferred. Your ability to manage the complexities of existing infrastructure and site conditions will be invaluable.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and address any concerns or challenges that arise.
- Safety Compliance: Prioritise safety at all times, implementing robust safety protocols and procedures to protect the well-being of workers and the community.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets and schedules, identify potential risks and delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure construction activities adhere to design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on wastewater treatment plant construction in Australia.
- Tertiary qualification in any engineering discipline, including civil engineering.
- Experience in brownfield construction projects is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
