Payroll Manager | Construction

Our client is a multi-billion, international T1 property developer mainly focussing on residential projects in Australia. The Brisbane office is fairly new and have projects in the pipeline for the next 7 years. With 15 staff currently, the business is projected to grow to about 60 within the next 12 months. Reporting to the Finance Manager, they are seeking an experienced Accounts & Payroll Officer to join their team.Having a strong construction background, this role will see you taking the lead and managing payroll, as well as assist with the accounts payable function of the business!The Role

• Working autonomously, you will be managing end-to-end payroll functions.
• Managing payroll transactions - group tax, payroll and superannuation
• Payroll reporting, analysis and compliance
• Excellent knowledge of working in blue and white collar payroll - working with various awards and EBAs
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures- high volumes of invoicing
• General credit card expenses
• Paying vendors and respond to all finance related queries
• Liaising with internal contacts and suppliers to ensure payments are made efficiently and accurately
• Continuous improvement of payment processes

About You

• 3 years minimum experience in a proven Payroll position, construction background is essential
• Impeccable communication skills - Both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
• JOBPAC or similar construction software experience
