Sami Design is a Sydney based architecture firm specialising in architectural design and project management of a wide range of projects including Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Educational, interior design, and landscape design. Our Mission is to design and construct functional spaces and structures of timeless beauty, which exist in harmony with the natural environment and improve everyday life.
At present we need Construction Project Manager to perform the following duties:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing all resources from the start to completion of projects within budgetary and timeframe requirements
- Negotiating with clients, investors and stakeholders and sub-contractors about the executive performance of projects
- Assisting with the operational delivery of projects in line with client and contractual requirements; program and procedures; and all relevant legislation
- Estimating, supervising staff and reviewing tender submissions
- Contributing to the project process particularly in relation to methodology, tendering,
- processing of payments, consultant management and site activities
- Delivering a high standard of work and the ability to organise and manage the site team.
- Managing and supervising the provision of manpower needed in various projects
- Communicating & liaising with Government Authorities, private organisations, Businesses and External Sake Holders
- Complying with Commonwealth & State building regulations and laws as well as Health and Safety Regulations
- Working with Project Managers & Senior Project Managers to provide superior team
- performance for clients in all aspects of project delivery including scope, time, cost and profitability, quality, human resources, communications, risk management, health, safety and environment and procurement
The successful candidate must:
- Have experience as a Construction Project Manager in the construction industry
- Have adequate knowledge in Microsoft Project, Etabs, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Have strong communication skills
- Be experienced in Cost control, monitoring and reporting
- Sound working knowledge of BCA, NCC and Australian Standards Exceptional
- organisational and time management skill
- Have work permit in Australia
- Have excellent written and verbal skills
- Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:
Education: Bachelor Degree or Higher Degree in related field
Australian Experience: At least 3 + years of Australian Experience OR
Overseas Experience: At least 3+ years of Overseas Experience
Specialist: Construction Project Management
Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder
