In the role of Construction Worker Supervisor, you will supervise the delivery of road and civil infrastructure projects with a particular focus on structures (timber, concrete and steel) rehabilitation and minor works, to ensure construction and maintenance services meet client and business objectives. You will assist in the effective supervision and utilisation of resources to achieve project outcomes and provide leadership in the implementation of change initiatives at the project level.Some of your responsibilities will include: - Assist in the management of road and civil infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on structures (timber, concrete and steel) rehabilitation and minor works, through all phases of the project cycle.- Liaise with the relevant delegate to ensure labour, plant and equipment allocation and availability meets project delivery demands.- Provide leadership, direction, support and coaching to project teams, including trainees and apprentices to achieve project goals and skills development.Mandatory qualifications and conditions: - The recommended applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical as part of the selection process.- You may be required to travel to other locations to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.- Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's license or equivalent.- Possession of a Certificate III in Road Marking or Civil Construction applicable to modern transport infrastructure projects, plus core Leadership and Management competencies is required.
