About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Consultant for Diabetes and Endocrine (Transgender) within the Division of Medicine.

  • Provision of expertise and medical care in Reproductive Endocrinology and Gender-Affirming hormone therapy.
  • Provision of training and supervision to undergraduate and post graduate medical trainees.
  • Encouraging and supporting teamwork amongst staff for optimal clinical service outcomes.
  • Participation in quality, safety and clinical risk management activities.
  • Involvement in continuing professional development activities.
  • Involvement in quality improvement; clinical audits; & clinical research activities.

To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
