The Organisation
This fully accredited public health service is located 10 kilometres from the Perth CBD. The 199-bed hospital provides specialist care in rehabilitation, community child and adolescent health, aged care and mental health.
You will be joining a mental health service that provides a comprehensive range of specialist Adult and Older Adult mental health services alongside a 12-bed inpatient service that provides mental health inpatient care for young people aged 16 to 24. Adult services include acute inpatient mental health services, rehabilitation services, community mental health services, inpatient mental health services, community care, and hospital-based day therapy services.
The Job

• This is an excellent opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team and provide specialist psychiatric services to patients
• You will provide clinical leadership in community and inpatient mental health service teams, working alongside other Consultant Psychiatrists
• You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills in providing orientation, training, and supervision for doctors in training and other health workers
• You will participate in the shared on-call/after-hours/weekend rosters

Requirements

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), or equivalent
