We are seeking a Consultant/Specialist Obs and Gynaecology to join a dedicated team in a regional coastal location, commencing as soon as possible until the 1st of February 2025

- Busy Regional Hospital with average of 1600 births per year.
- Facilities include 6 room birth suites, 28 bed post-natal ward, new Women's+ Outpatient clinic.
- Visiting Specialist Clinics in Gynaecology Oncology and Urology Gynaecology
- Work/life balance roster with on call shared amongst team of experienced colleagues.
- Suitable for new consultant or experienced consultant.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Provision of a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or motor vehicle allowance of $25,758 per annum, pro rata.
- Communication allowance of $1,948 per annum, pro rata
- Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,000 per annum, pro rata
- On call allowance % base salary
- Relocation allowance
- All other allowances as per current Award
- In addition, subject to approval from the Private Patient Scheme Committee (PPS), 35% of Base salary plus on-call, pro rata) of additional payment will be paid from (PPS).
- If not admitted to the PPS, a 35% in lieu of PPS of base salary will be paid.
A General Public Hospital, 300 beds, that provides acute care facilities, this is an accredited teaching hospital that has a close partnership with the University Clinical School and the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
