ABOUT THE ROLE Salvos Stores are seeking exceptional communicators to fill Full-Time, Contact Centre Specialists roles in NSW. Come and join our Contact Centre team, working in a hybrid environment of onsite and at home, where you will play an essential role managing high volumes of inbound online enquiries, emails and calls in a structured work environment and ensure all enquiries are answered and managed in a timely and professional manner. Roles and Responsibilities

Your role as Contact Centre Specialist will include, but not be limited to; As a customer service professional with a knack for online communication, you’ll respond to a high volume of inbound online bookings, enquiries and feedback using a number of communication forums (e.g. social media, chat, email, phone) in a timely, professional and efficient manner and liaise with other departments as required, including logistics, other Salvation Army services and programs and other Salvos Stores retail teams; As an excellent communicator you’ll attend to inbound and outbound calls and relevant administrative activities, when operationally required to support the call centre; With an eye for detail you’ll manage and maintain accurate donor records across their respective databases for home collection services, Salvos Club Cards and financial donations; You’ll assist with the prioritisation of tasks with other team members to meet daily KPIs; A solutions-focused individual, you’ll act as a first escalation point for more junior members of the team with more complex queries or customer feedback; You’ll have your finger on the pulse, keeping up to date with Salvos Stores and the Salvation Army’s information, services and programs ABOUT YOU You’re a creative, organised individual who thrives on delivering great customer experiences and is passionate about making a difference not only to the people you support but in the wider community. As the successful applicant you will have; Experience working in a busy front-line customer service-based role, ideally in a Contact Centre environment; Experience managing complex customer complaints and/or enquiries, especially in written form using various online customer tools; Proficiency in working with outlook, spreadsheets, databases and customer relationship management systems; Available to work weekdays, Saturdays and evening hours on a rotational roster; Flexibility to work onsite and from home Satisfactory work from home requirements assessment check A current and valid police check.
