About Our ClientOur client is a well-established private iconic Australian Sports Team and is currently looking for a dynamic and energetic full-time Content creator. Reporting to the Media and Commercial Manager, this position will suit someone with 3 – 5 years’ relevant industry experience and who is looking to establish a long-term career in a fun, challenging and professional environment.

The Role

In this position you will be responsible for producing compelling, insightful, and engaging content across their various digital marketing platforms.

You will produce and coordinate content that will encourage engagement demonstrating loyalty, passion, and enthusiasm. You will also have the ability to think laterally to engage fans, as well as a range of key stakeholders and champion the brand.

The Core Responsibilities Of This Position Include

• Video creation and editing.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of:
  • relevant social media accounts and staying up to date with trends.
  • the strategic digital social media experience.
• Build audience of existing and new social and digital channels for multiple businesses.
• Maximising audience reach through various mediums and timely updates.
• Supporting the development and implementation of the greater marketing strategy.
• Developing innovative and creative marketing and social media content.
• Sponsor and external agency relationship management.
• Ensuring the team meets their media and sponsor commitments as required.
• Reporting and analytics and translating data to Senior Management.
  

About YouYou will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to communicate across all levels within the business and to team fans.

To Be Successful In This Position You Will Possess

• Proven experience in videography, with a portfolio showcasing previous work (Elite level sport preferably).
• Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign etc
• Graphic Design, Communications/Public Relations/Marketing degree and / or demonstrable experience in social media platform management and content creation / writing skills
• Creativity and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• A passion for social media and a habit to stay informed on industry trends and best practices and apply learnings.
• Ability to regularly travel is a must.
• Writing and editing skills with attention to detail for fact-checking.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong focus on user experience.
• Great interpersonal communication skills
• Interest in the sporting industry
