About the role:
We’re on the hunt for an experienced Content Director/Executive Producer to join our SAFM team based in Adelaide.
What you’ll be doing:
This dual role offers a unique opportunity for the successful applicant to spearhead our SAFM content team while also leading in developing and executing our content strategy.
As Content Director, you'll lead, develop, and mentor our incredibly talented content team, ensuring that the station content aligns seamlessly with the overarching national content strategy. Your expertise will be crucial in guaranteeing that all on-air and online content adheres to rigorous risk assessment guidelines and on-air codes prior to broadcasting.
In your role as Executive Producer, you'll dive into the creative process, working hands-on to produce an award-winning content strategy that drives ratings success for our station and flagship breakfast show, Bec and Soda. This means not only overseeing the big picture but also getting your hands dirty in the day-to-day execution to ensure our content stands out from the competition.
Experience we’re looking for:
- A proven content specialist with extensive knowledge of radio and the ability to grasp content issues related to market.
- Multi-platform and multi-network experience with demonstrated knowledge across radio, digital, internet and streaming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive experience managing on-air talent with a demonstrated ability to adapt leadership and strategic thinking to meet their needs at any time.
- Results driven with respect to both content and commercial goals.
- An understanding of legal compliance issues with regards to contests including the assessment of risk around legal and PR outcomes.
