Our Opportunity NEPEAN Finance is part of the shared services team providing technical expertise to our NEPEAN businesses across our global portfolio. An exciting opportunity is now available for a highly skilled Assistant Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position will be responsible for supporting finance operations across multiple NEPEAN businesses. This is a full-time opportunity based in Narellan, NSW.
Duties will include, but not be limited to;
- Preparation and lodgement of payroll tax returns, BAS returns and FBT returns.
- Manage the MV fleet for multiple entities.
- Processing of bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing month end journals and preparation of management accounts
- Support payroll function.
- Other accounting and administration activities as required.
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- A minimum of 3 year’s prior experience in a similar position.
- Strong experience utilizing an ERP in a fast-paced work environment. Pronto experience desirable.
- Experience using process automation software. Redmap experience desirable.
- Comfortable utilizing MS Office. This includes having intermediate skills in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player persona with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated experience working in fast, dynamic environments.
- Have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet targets.
- Powerful communication and interpersonal skills.
