The Marketing and Communications Unit (MCU) takes the lead in developing strategies and relationships to build the UTS brand in order to achieve its desired prominence in the market place. It is responsible for effectively promoting and enhancing the image and reputation of the university through the development and implementation of marketing plans, media and public relations activities, internal communication and corporate identity strategy. MCU has both internal and external clients and delivers services to support them and to promote the overall strategic development of the university.
The Content Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, creating and delivering a range of content across a variety of mediums and formats, designed to attract, acquire and engage target UTS audiences. This role will help define the UTS brand story, in addition to developing consistency for the brand’s storytelling.
If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:
- Plan, develop and create content marketing outputs to attract, acquire and engage target UTS audiences
- Produce analytics and reporting to measure content marketing efforts and share with internal clients
- Liaise with internal clients to execute content creation from start to finish, according to briefs and content strategy
- Contribute to MCU content strategy discussions with new ideas and best practices

Remuneration
Base Salary: $85,781 to $92,879 pa (HEW 6)
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary. Employee benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.
This appointment will be on a part-time (0.4FTE, 2 days per week) basis on a continuing contract.
