Job description

The Content Marketing & Social Media Executive is a newly created position.  Accountable for owning and delivering our content and social programs across all our brands spanning real-estate, hospitality, food & beverage, wellness and events, this role plays an integral part in the overarching success of our Marketing program. We are looking for a wildly creative storyteller with an exceptional eye and a proven ability to build beautiful, premium, and engaging brands.

Combining strategic thinking with the ability to create and market engaging video and written content, outstanding editorial prowess is key to this role. You will be responsible for creative concepting, production, on-platform management, and marketing. In this role, you need to be capable of working independently and be confident in taking the lead to create and drive content and Social Media initiatives from inception through to execution. You will work alongside the CMO to develop a program that drives awareness, acquisition, and retention.

This is a rare opportunity for a Content Marketing and Social Media specialist to drive an exciting pipeline of activity within a growing business, and for a suite of alluring brands. You will thrive in a fast-paced, data driven environment and be excited by the idea of becoming part of an entrepreneurial & community-minded culture.

This role will require you to prioritise commitments to internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. As an experienced professional in a nimble team, you’ll need to be comfortable balancing your time between strategy as well as implementation. You will report on communications & marketing performance and provide monthly insights and optimisation recommendations.

What your day-to-day might look like

  • Drive overarching Social Media and content programs for our growing Florence Guild portfolio, including Work Club, Florence Guild Wellness, Florence Guild Presents, Freyja, Valhalla and Sagas.
  • Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and wider Marketing team to develop annual marketing initiatives that ladder back to the Marketing strategy.
  • Use your abundant creativity and aesthetic prowess to create multimedia content that brings our premium brands to life and engages our audiences
  • Social media content strategy, with a focus on growing our organic channels across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook (and potentially more)
  • Manage Work Club Social Media channels, including community management, monthly content calendars, image sourcing, publishing and providing expert guidance across social marketing campaigns.
  • Strategise, write, edit and publish monthly newsletters, improving open rates / CTRs. Develop compelling email marketing content that engages members and not-yet members.
  • Create and market content for our Florence Guild Presents program of curated events and experiences, as well as Florence Guild Wellness, developing engaging collateral that will speak to our audiences
  • Work alongside other Marketing functions, as well as sales, operations, clubs, events and food & beverage, to deliver campaigns that drive revenue.
  • Champion the brand, ensuring all content delivers on our brand positioning.
  • Monitor, track and report on performance. Use analytics to make informed strategic decisions and put forward recommendations to improve future activity.

A bit about you

  • Based in Sydney with extensive experience in Content Marketing and Social Media for brands or integrated/creative/communications agencies.
  • A wildly creative storyteller and dynamic content creator; someone with an editorial prowess who can get ideas out of people’s heads and package them into content with elegance and ease.
  • You have an exceptional eye, a flair for visual communication, a passion for imagery curation and a proven ability to take a premium brand to market
  • Advanced content creation skills, including video, excellent writing and editorial skills (including copy editing, headlines and story packaging).
  • Expertise developing and executing effective Social Media and Content Marketing strategies, with a proven ability to deliver commercial results.
  • Methodical, process and deadline driven, you will be a stickler for correct grammar, obsessed with quality, have an eye for detail and the production skills to match.
  • Competent using Canva for content creation (graphic design skills are a big bonus)
  • Experience with Stakeholder management at various levels.
  • Experience working with premium brands is preferable.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Journalism/Marketing) or equivalent experience

Reporting

The role will report directly into the CMO. You will work closely with other members of the Marketing team, on-site Club teams, members, agencies and internal/external stakeholders.

Please Note: Unrestricted Australian working rights are required for this position. Only Australian Citizens / PR Holders may apply.
