We currently have one (1) Fixed-term, Part-time Vacancy available at 0.6FTE (45 hours/fortnight) from 1 July 2024 for a period of up to 6 months with the possibility of extension/s.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Digital Services Producer role is an integral part of the Digital Services team and is responsible for the production, editing, and maintenance of digital content for the WA Museum’s websites and digital platforms, as well as supporting the Manager Digital Services to ensure that a customer-focused and accessible web service is provided.

The successful applicant will be expected to: 

  • Work with the Digital Experience Designer on the production and editing of written, audio visual, photographic, and other types of digital content.
  • Action content updates and creation requests for the Museum’s website. 
  • Administer website user accounts and provide training on the Museum’s Drupal website Content Management System (CMS) and Exhibition Content Management System (ECMS).
  • Monitor and respond to requests and feedback regarding the Museum’s websites and in-gallery digital platforms.

  • A statement of no more than two (2)x A4 pages addressing the following essential work-related requirements. (Please provide relevant examples to support your claims):
  1. Experience in the production and editing of written, audio visual, photographic, and other types of digital content.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of content management systems, and ability to manage and maintain information systems including websites and databases.
  3. Demonstrated well-developed organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY
