Social Media Executive

Role purpose:
The role of the Digital Content Producer will support the Marketing function & will work closely with the brand and digital marketing teams to ensure that all launches, projects and marketing campaign objectives are met. The role is critical to tell our brand stories in an engaging and consistent way.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Strategic Priorities

• Digital content planning & asset production, including execution across owned and earned channels
• Community management across all channels - social (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest), review websites

General Responsibilities

• Work with Brand Marketing Specialist and Senior Marketing Manager to develop and plan all content requirements for always on brand, campaign and performance programs
• Brief agency, designer and/or manage the internal production of all campaign assets and content - imagery, videos and copywriting
• Plan and schedule all content across social, PR, influencers and across recipes and blogs
• Delivery of all content assets including website banners to the Digital Marketing Specialist
• Work together with the Digital Marketing Specialist to align on key products to build into the digital trading elements across campaigns and always on program
• Plan and build all content for CRM, including tactical events, campaigns and life cycle management program
• End to end ownership of all social channels - content planning and execution, media amplification budget and optimisation and community management
• Weekly and campaign reporting across social channels with recommendations for optimisation
• Provide general and administrative support to the marketing team

Essential:

• 3+ years experience in content marketing and Social Media marketing
• Strong project management, planning and time management skills
• Strong content development and copywriting skills
• Previous experience in managing social channels
• Ability to develop relationships with cross functional teams
• Ability to compile and analyse complex data
• Positive attitude and composure under pressure
• Willingness to travel to Newcastle as required

Desirable:

• Experience in an agency or similar fast-paced environment
• Video editing and graphic design experience
