Your Role

There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you might be working on, day-to-day;

Lead Social Media Strategy 

  • Working with Senior PR & Content Manager to develop and implement a social media strategy to drive relevance, increase brand awareness and engagement with the program through compelling and timely content.
  • Developing and executing influencer partnerships and collaborations to expand brand reach and member engagement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging social media platforms to proactively recommend new strategies.
  • Maintain tools, software licensing, templates and files essential to the efficient operation of all social media channels.
  • Run regular meetings with agency and key internal stakeholders to keep a connected view of all opportunities in the works.

Own Social Media Content Calendar and Content Creation

  • Manage and all social media accounts across platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
  • Schedule and publish posts and monitor engagement metrics to optimise posting times. Plan and circulate content calendar to key stakeholders, working 2-3 months in advance.
  • Regularly liaising with Marketing Teams, Commercial Team and Service Centre teams to create content solutions to address member or Partner feedback.
  • Develop and curate engaging and channel specific content for various online platforms to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Create visually appealing and shareable graphics, videos and other multimedia content, in line with brand guidelines.
  • Write and edit engaging copy for diverse channels, in line with brand guidelines.
  • Accountable for delivery of our monthly content statement eDM.

Community Management

  • Engaging Flybuys’ online community, fostering relationships and responding to comments and enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Identify and engage with influencers, key opinion leaders, partners and brand advocates.

Reporting and Recommendations

  • Monitor social media analytics to track the performance of campaigns and content. 
  • Prepare and circulate regular reports on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Your Experience

  • Degree in Social Media, Digital Marketing, Marketing or Public Relations.
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience working in social media, with retail or loyalty background preferred.
  • Experience across Retail, Loyalty, B2C & B2B brands preferred.
  • Passion for social media and influencer marketing, with a deep understanding of social media trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting and independently. 
  • Excellent proficiency in capturing and editing lo-fi video and photo content.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to collate insights to create actionable outcomes.
  • Creative mindset to develop innovative concepts and ideas to drive engagement and performance of channels.
  • Excellent project management skills to deliver against multiple departments’ requirements.
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience sharing reporting and recommendations with broader business.
  • Knowledge across all organic and paid social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated social media management, influencer management and community management experience across multiple platforms.
