Continuous Improvement Coordinator

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team in Seven Hills as a CI Coordinator/ Specialist. You will take ownership of the different Daily Management Systems (DMS) and get involved in implementing, maintaining and continuously improving. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machine/ production operator, who has had exposure to Continuous Improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment, and is looking to take the next step in their career. 

Responsibilities:

• Eliminate process losses on equipment by creating and maintaining standards through DMSs and problem-solving tools.
• Ownership of the Centerline, Organizational Change and Changeover DMSs, as well as the problem-solving tools like Initial Problem Solving (IPS) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
• Participate in DDS meetings and contributing all information related to the in-process measures, output measure and Health Checks of the DMS’s he / she owns.
• Lead root cause problem solving efforts on key chronic losses for the line. Promote reapplication of approaches across the plant and across the network.
• To transfer knowledge of DMSs, problem-solving tools or any other improvements to the team leaders and equipment owners (EO).
• Assess line team skills through the target proficiencies set in the skills matrix. Provide ongoing coaching and teaching to close out any knowledge gaps for individuals.
• Manage line event data systems and ensure data is being accurately recorded, categorized, and analyzed through the OEE Line Loss Analysis.

About you: 

• Experience within Continuous Improvement, ideally within a FMCG manufacturing environment.
• An excellent understanding on the implementation of production systems and work processes across plants.
• Knowledge on TPM, Leadership and Lean 6Sigma.
• A Bachelor's Degree (in Industrial Engineering, Business Admin or any other related field is preferred).
• Strong coaching, leadership and influencing skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient in interpreting technical data to support improvement recommendations.
