The Contract Management Directorate is responsible for delivering contract management services for major Transport Projects ensuring quality outcomes for the South Australian public.We're seeking a proactive Contract Administration Support Officer to join our team and play an important role in managing contracts and delivering exceptional administrative services. In this role, you'll oversee various functions, from processing contract payments to ensuring accurate record-keeping, contributing to the efficiency of our operations.As a Contract Administration Support Officer, you'll provide support to our Contract Management Directorate, attending meetings, recording minutes, and providing exemplary customer service to our clients. If you have a knack for managing records, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with government systems, we want you on our team. We're seeking a candidate with proven experience in business systems administration and document control, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Your ability to manage records effectively, analyse information accurately, and communicate with clarity will be instrumental in excelling in this role.The successful candidate will demonstrate their capacity to manage workload efficiently, prioritise tasks effectively, and work autonomously or collaboratively as part of a team. Maintaining confidentiality, adhering to departmental procedures, and communicating diplomatically will be key in your success in this role.Requirements
Demonstrated experience in administration of business systems and document control.Special Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check (NPC) prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary appointment up to 12 months with an option of extension or conversion to be considered.Remuneration
