Our Construction SA business, an integral division of the Schiavello Group for the last 50 years, delivering inspiring and award-winning construction projects has continued to grow, with a strong pipeline of projects within the Health, Aged Care, and Education sectors.
As a result of recent project awards and growing market share, we are on the hunt for an experienced Contract Administrator, with experience in delivering construction and refurbishment projects over $10M. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and driven to join a dynamic team and continue to grow our business in 2024 and beyond.
Construction & Project Delivery Experience
You will be responsible for working closely with our project teams, maintaining programs, methodologies and quality for projects across various sectors including; Health, Education and Aged Care, ranging from $500,000 - $20M.
Not only will you be a successful communicator and capable of building and maintaining strong relationships, but you’ll also have proven experience delivering a high standard of financial and timely project admin support, through at least 5 years industry experience.
Key Functions & Responsibilities
Reporting into and working closely with the Construction Manager and Project Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Project Manager in project delivery requirements
- Assist in managing client project requirements and expectations
- Undertake quality reviews of on-site and off-site products and installed items
- Ensure project procurement is undertaken to meet project time frames
- Manage and coordinate subcontractor packages, administration and relationships
- Assist with project financials ensuring they meet agreed profitability targets
- Generating variations, invoices and progress claims
- Assist in the development of methodologies, trade scopes and programmes
- Managing and ensuring safe construction sites
