About the Role

Day-to-day you will be based onsite and involved in the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring that all contracts are managed in an efficient and effective manner.

This position is ideal for someone who has started or established a career within Contract Administration and are looking to take the next step within a positive work environment.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Raise and submit variations in alignment with scope and budgetary considerations
  • Lodge RFI’s and EOT (extension of time) claims
  • Assist to prepare and process progress claims and supplier/subcontractor payments
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Review project results, margins and risk, identifying methods of improvement
  • Regular progress and financial reporting

About You

This role would suit a Contract Administrator with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience within the construction industry with the below traits:

  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Efficient time management and can juggle competing deadlines
  • Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Thrives when working as part of a team to achieve a common goal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to build rapport with all stakeholders
  • Can adapt to change and think on feet to find the best solution
  • Loves working under pressure

Role Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Contract Administrator, handling projects of various values
  • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Proficient using various computer software including Procore, Payapps and Aconex (desirable)
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle

As our people are required to attend government, health and education facilities and construction sites, it is a condition of employment for this role, that the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and background police check is adhered to.
