We are delighted to be once again engaged exclusively by a highly valued client to identify and secure an experienced Contracts Administrator to play a key role in the ongoing success of this highly respected company in Cairns.With over two decades of local industry experience, our client has consistently demonstrated their expertise in commercial building solutions, catering to a diverse range of clients across North Queensland in sectors such as Retail, Industrial, Government, and Entertainment Precincts. Their established network of trade contractors, suppliers, and consultants has been instrumental in delivering exceptional outcomes for their clientele.
Fueled by a commitment to transparency, ethics, and fostering a supportive work environment, our client's project portfolio continues to grow, encompassing projects ranging from $1-50 million, predominantly Design & Construct (D&C) contracts.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers and the Director to manage various construction administration tasks, including but not limited to ongoing subcontractor management, variation investigation and approval, certification of progress claims, and final payment processing.
While prior experience in a similar commercial construction role is desirable, candidates with relevant experience and a positive attitude will also be considered, regardless of formal qualifications in construction management.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a keen eye for detail, and capable of navigating contractual complexities while applying sound commercial judgment in their daily operations.
