About the Role
Day-to-day you will be based onsite and involved in the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring that all contracts are managed in an efficient and effective manner.
This position is ideal for someone who has started or established a career within Contract Administration and are looking to take the next step within a positive work environment.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Raise and submit variations in alignment with scope and budgetary considerations
- Lodge RFI’s and EOT (extension of time) claims
- Assist to prepare and process progress claims and supplier/subcontractor payments
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Review project results, margins and risk, identifying methods of improvement
- Regular progress and financial reporting
About You
This role would ideally suit a Contract Administrator with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience within the construction industry with the below traits:
- Strong negotiation skills
- Efficient time management and can juggle competing deadlines
- Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Thrives when working as part of a team to achieve a common goal
- Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to build rapport with all stakeholders
- Can adapt to change and think on feet to find the best solution
- Loves working under pressure
Role Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience as a Contract Administrator, handling projects of various values (preferred)
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Proficient using various computer software including Procore, Payapps and Aconex (desirable)
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
