Pay Rate: $126-140k (base salary and super included) + location and housing allowance dependent on the location
Location: Perth, WA 6000
Role Overview: Manage Contract and project delivery in accordance with corporate and divisional systems and framework to deliver safe, reliable, and quality power supply within Operational Budgets.
Key Responsibilities;
- Power delivery: Provide visible safety leadership and coaching to ensure all contract and project delivery activities are executed safely.
- Power delivery: Ensure contract works are organised and executed in line with agreed plans, standards, policies, budgets, and procedures.
- Power delivery: Endure quality control of site contract works.
- Power delivery: Deliver customer funded contract works within agreed timeframes.
- Power delivery: Coordinate contractor’s works schedule.
- Finance: Deliver contract and project works in accordance with budgets.
- People: Lead and develop and capable contract work team aligned to the clients’ values.
- People: Ensure cooperative and effective working relationship with the asset management team (works planning).
- People: Manage contractors in accordance with contractual budget and safety requirements.
- Safety: Endure compliance to safety standards and work practices by audit engagement of HP subject matter experts.
- Other: Ensure compliance to native title and heritage processes, procedures, and plans
- Other: Ensure compliance to environmental processes, procedures, and plans
- Manage, monitor, and report on the budgets for allocated areas associated with the Kimberley services contracts.
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of P1 and P2 maintenance and internal and customer funded capital works in areas covered by Kimberley services contract.
- Develop collaborative working relationship between Kimberley services contractor’s suppliers and stakeholders to inform consult and support the efficient operation and delivery of projects associated with Kimberley services contract.
- Assists the Asset Manager with the maintenance planning, programming, and budgeting for areas associated with the Kimberley services contract.
- Develops strategies to improve cost efficiencies in service provision and delivery of works associated with Kimberley services contracts.
- Develop, manage, and maintain documented performance indicator reports on contract performance.
Essential to be successful in this role;
- Electrical Trade Certificate (ESI or equivalent) or Electrical Engineering Diploma and Significant Power Distribution Construction experience.
- Project Management Qualifications
- WA driver’s license class “C”.
- Blue/White Card (Work Safe Construction Safety Awareness Training Course).
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Sound Knowledge in the scheduling and delivery of project outcomes in accordance with relevant standards processes and practices.
- Sound Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, regulations, and procedures.
- Sound knowledge of safety and environmental systems, policies, and practices.
- Sound Knowledge of complex IT based business, customer, asset, and operational systems.
- Knowledge of contract and financial management processes.
- Current valid NPC or able to obtain one
