As the Office Manager, for a small business you’ll be undertaking contract administration duties, scheduling, bookkeeping, managing accounting operations, sorting and delivering mail on our Motorcycle as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every work day.
You’ll be
- Starting your day very early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels.
- Reviewing emails and correspondence, resolving complaints and issues.
- Compiling pays and managing the day to day expenses and banking.
- Completing all HR paperwork, including assisting with recruitment as required.
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
- Loading your motorbike with your deliveries for the day.
- Delivering outdoors to home and businesses in PORT or SOUTH HEDLAND in all types of weather.
- Comply with all Australia Post requirements.
About you
- You will have experience managing an office and staff.
- You will have the necessary accounting / bookkeeping experience, including payrolls, preparation of monthly BAS GST and all year end accounting information.
- You must hold a motorcycle licence and have experience riding in traffic.
- Pass a National Police Check.
- You’ll successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment.
- You are flexible with working additional hours if required. The job must get done and done safely. You are committed, on time and will work diligently to complete the task.
- You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 10kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly.
- You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 100kgs or less.
