Seeking a Distribution Manager in our Contract Logistics team, based out in our Western Sydney site.
YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Distribution Manager to join our team. Your primary objective will be to support distribution activities in accordance with the overall strategic plan focusing on operational excellence, while creating + embedding a framework of continuous improvement across operational activities to gain + retain customers. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing, planning and organising staff and transport sub-contractors.
- Working closely with the warehouse management teams to ensure efficient operational execution.
- Ensuring your team delivers against their customer, site and key performance indicators (KPI).
- Leading all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention and operational excellence, whist supporting business development teams.
- Reviewing onboarding and implementation plans with your team, ensuring to focus on zero failure to ensure we deliver as promised.
- Ensuring operations are fully compliant with all licenses, QSHE, dangerous goods requirement, both internally and externally. #LI-DNI
