Opportunity for you!

Due to our continued business growth, we are looking for an accomplishedContract Manager role to join us on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of cleaning services across multiple sites for our new client, the University of South Australia. This key management position will be pivotal in building and maintaining a strong relationship with the client and ensuring operational and financial metrics are met within the contract.   

Based at our head office in the heart of Adelaide, you will be joining a national business with a strong presence in SA. It is expected that you will travel to campuses in Adelaide as well as Mt Gambier and Whyalla as operationally required. Reporting to the State Manager - SA, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the effective management of site operations, including clear understanding of the agreed scope of works and integrated management plans for each site.
  • Lead, manage and motivate the team, including regular 1:1 development meetings. Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members on a regular basis. 
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with the client and other stakeholders involved working at the University.
  • Ensure financial processes are followed including management of P&L, creditor reports, purchase orders and payroll approval.
  • Accountable for compliance across the contract and actively work with other business functions to mitigate against any risks. 
  • Complete reports, contract plans and strategies as required along with any other business reports.
  • Complete and manage the preparation of quotes and/or tender responses as identified, including proactively following up.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed within the business and that equipment and machinery is maintained in a safe operating condition.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate that you possess:

  • Experienced with cleaning service operations, contract management, leadership and people management. 
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including managing P&L, data analysis and purchasing, to ensure operations are delivered within budget.
  • An effective team player, with ability to adapt and change in a growing business environment.
