Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of contractors during maintenance shutdowns on Electric Shovels, Electric Walking Draglines, and Excavators, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and scheduling.
• Oversee the execution of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with planned procedures, safety regulations, and maintenance standards.
• Monitor progress and provide clear direction to contractors, identifying and resolving any technical issues or barriers that may arise during the shutdowns.
• Review and approve contractor deliverables, such as work orders, inspection reports, and equipment performance evaluations..
• Conduct regular inspections to assess equipment condition, identify potential failures, and recommend preventive maintenance strategies.
• Manage contractor performance, providing feedback, coaching, and recognition to optimize productivity and maintain high-quality work.
• Foster a safety culture by promoting adherence to safety practices and regulations, conducting safety audits, and participating in incident investigations when necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements related to Electric Shovels, Electric Walking Draglines, and Excavators.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Supervisor in Mine Maintenance, preferably with expertise in Electric Shovels, Electric Walking Draglines, and Excavators.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mining equipment maintenance practices, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and their application in mining operations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other related software.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different sites, as required.
