About Ultrasound & Multiple Pregnancy Clinic
The RWH Ultrasound Department and the Multiple Pregnancy Clinic provide high-quality ultrasound scans for women pregnant with 2 or more fetuses (twins, triplets or higher order multiples).
About the role
This role involves triage and recruitment of eligible patients into an international clinical study looking into strategies to reduce the impact of pregnancy complication in twin pregnancies.
A regular day will see you:
- Triage patients who may be eligible to join the study
- Explain the purpose and potential benefits of joining the study
- Assist with summarising the results of ultrasound scans performed as part of the study
- Follow-up of patients participating in the study
- Collecting data about participants and the outcomes for them and their babies
About you
To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
- A passion for research
- Ability to build relationships with the team and the wider community
- Excellent communication skills
- Adaptability and willingness to face new challenges when needed
- Experience with data entry/databases
