About you:
To be successful you will be an experienced Supply Chain Professional, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders, build strong relationships, both internal and external, negotiate and execute contracts, and deliver on required business outcomes.
Have strong conceptual and analytical skills and enjoy getting into the details. Must have a positive can do attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges.
Excellent time management skills are a must as you will be required to manage multiple, concurrent activities, with tight deadlines, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies and risks
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualifications from an accredited tertiary institution in a related discipline, or equivalent experience /combined education
- Strong contract management experience, applying industry practices, principles, concepts, techniques and standards to contract development, administration, management, negotiation, and closure
- Knowledge of Subcontracting with Public institutions.
- Experience identifying risk associated with a set of terms and conditions in the context of a specified Statement of Work.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Intellectual Property and Australian Industry involvement activities
- Strong working knowledge of procurement processes.
- Demonstrated experience working within an engineering or project environment (preferably within Defence or ICT industries).
- SAP experience is desired

As an integral member of the STELaRlab team you will provide vital Procurement and Contract Negotiation, execution and Supplier Relationship Management to our stakeholders. Working closely and collaboratively with the Business Areas, Suppliers, Government subsidiaries to ensure compliance with company processes and procedures as well as Australian Government Regulations.
