We are currently looking for a Commercial Contract Manager to play an essential role in supporting our Offshore and Remote team based out of the Perth Head Office. Reporting to the Project Manager your key responsibilities will include end of month management reporting, analysis and regular monitoring of contractual compliance and financial analysis of an agreed portfolio.
This diverse role will also see you manage the subcontractor relationships and administration, their compliance requirements both safety and contractual.
Key duties include:
Conduct audits of commercial contracts to ensure there is no revenue leakage
Act as the key point of contact for the client on commercial or contract compliance matters
Have oversight of invoicing and client reporting
Review and track cost reports/ expenditure, forecasting and variation management throughout duration of contract
Manage contract compliance, KPI Review, adjustments and suggestions for improvement
Month end closing and reporting
Support the preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts
Site visits – minimum 2 a month
The Person:
Previous experience within commercial management or subcontractor management or site/village management or as a Senior HSEQ advisor is essential (a combination of these, particularly Hard FM experience is highly desirable)
Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand and interpret contracts, commercial terms and financial data
Advanced MS Office skills – Advanced Excel is essential
First rate communicator, confident with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders from subcontractors to client.
Ability to build sound and effective business relationships and display a strong business ethics
Highly developed analytical skills, perhaps including a finance background, and CPA qualifications, but not essential
Refined time managements skills
You will be a lateral thinker and problem solver who uses initiative and is proactive
You are a Team player with demonstrated commitment to achieving company targets and contributing to the safety, quality and sustainability goals of a business
Your success in this role will stem from your prior commercial experience, exceptional communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
