THE ROLE
As a Contracts Manager at RCC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects through effective contract & project management. You will be responsible for overseeing all contract-related activities, from pre-construction through to project completion. This includes drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts, as well as ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage contract execution, ensuring all parties adhere to agreed terms and conditions.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Provide advice and support to project teams on contract-related matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contract documentation.
- Resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project managers, legal counsel, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in contract management within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience within the Government and/or Health sectors.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local regulatory requirements and industry standards.
