- 12 months contract role with possible extension of 12 months.
- Attractive hourly pay rate upto $130/ hour + Super.
- Hybrid work (WFH + 3 days at the Canberra office).
The role is responsible to develop all procurement documentation and manage procurement activities (primarily RFQ and RFT processes), as well as contract management activities with existing contracts.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage the entire end to end procurement process, including evaluations’ reviews, timeframes, member engagement, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct assurance reviews and reporting for procurement activities.
- Develop RFx documentation, conduct evaluations and negotiate contracts that demonstrate value for money.
- Provide ‘first line’ probity advice to ensure ethical behaviour during procurement processes.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote and apply the Government procurement framework, including relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, as necessary.
- Provide 'first line' probity advice to ensure ethical behaviour is maintained and exercised during the entire procurement process; and
- Work closely with the Director, Commercial and Program Finance on contract management related matters.
- Maintain relevant contract management registers.
- Undertake minutes and relevant contract notes for contextual reference purposes.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as directed by the Director, Commercial and Program Finance.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Ability to take an innovative and holistic approach to problem solving, design and delivery for improved outcomes.
- Must be organised, detail-oriented and be able to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and diverse strategic working partnerships including with senior stakeholders, through collaboration, engagement, responsiveness, and influence.
- Advanced analytical skills. Take an innovative and holistic approach to service design and delivery for improved outcome.
- Deep understanding of Government procurement legislation and processes.
- Demonstrated experience in Government procurements within a similar role.
- Good understanding and experience in contract management processes and policies.
- Ability to work with external vendors.
- Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders of varying professional disciplines.
- Excellent negotiation, communications, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Procurement and contract management.
