Job Description The Opportunity Reporting to the Supply Chain Superintendent, the Contracts & Purchasing Officer will be responsible for the management, procurement and expediting of parts, equipment and sundry to our operations. You will also be involved in the development of procurement procedures & practices to ensure safe and efficient control of the warehouse environment.  This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster. About the Role Maintain strict control over inventory levels to meet all demands and to achieve company deliverables; Identify cost-competitive and reliable supplies of materials; Manage warehouse operations including inventory inspections, reorder supplies/stock as necessary, monitoring expenditure, facilitating initiatives to prevent surplus and preventable costs; Arrange freight and hotshots of critical spares to site; Engagement with suppliers to ensure appropriate stock management to fulfil demand, review supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and receipt goods in a timely manner; Manage the Pronto Inventory module to ensure timely actioning of all purchasing requests to enable manageable, trackable, and measurable performance outcomes; Liaise weekly with the maintenance planning department to ensure materials are available for the planned maintenance activities and Assist with asset management tasks as it relates to effective tracking of the overall asset pool. Desired Skills and Experience About You Post-secondary qualifications in supply management an advantage; Demonstrated purchasing / supply experience in the mining or other heavy industries; Prior experience working with warehouse management ERP systems, Pronto desirable; Experience with forecasting and projection reporting; Proven experience liaising with multiple stakeholders within a large organisation, including both internal and external stakeholders; Experience in a fast paced and complex environment; Why Regis Resources?
