Job description

Client Details

Capitalising on an established and efficient vertical integration model, our client is one of the most effective producers of titanium dioxide; a critical component in products such as paint, plastics, and cosmetics. Description

The role is predominantly focused on the review and assessment of an existing portfolio of service contracts that are approaching expiration. Therefore the responsibilities of the role will be heavily focused but not limited to post-award management. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the validity and viability of existing contracts through the evaluation of expected spend, security of supply, and market conditions and managing the subsequent execution of required variations, claims etc.
  • Engage in negotiations with existing and potentially new suppliers to improve the commercial terms, manage potential risk and maintain organisational compliance.
  • Monitor and capitalise on favourable market conditions or trends to maintain competitive advantages.

Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience managing end-to-end mining services contracts would be considered advantageous.
  • A particular passion and previous experience within the post-award management process.
  • Previous experience on Coupa would be highly desirable.

Job Offer

Our client understands that maintaining work/life balance is essential to a healthy workforce and have subsequently implemented a compressed nine day fortnight, two days work from home at the discretion of the individual and the option to work out of either the Bunbury or Muchea facility. The role would suit an individual who has a preference or particular passion for post award management and are situated close to either Bunbury or Muchea.
