You will be living and working in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, about 595 kilometres from Perth. The town has plenty of historical architecture, with many buildings dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries! It offers a wide range of activities and attractions that cater to various interests, from exploring its rich mining history to enjoying outdoor adventures. The location is a fascinating destination for those looking to experience the heart of the Australian outback.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments of patients diagnosed with cancer.
- Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Serve as a clinical expert and resource for complex patient care issues.
- Educate patients and their families about cancer diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.
- Monitor and assess the quality of oncology nursing care and patient outcomes.
To be eligible for the position, you must have the following:
- Current AHPRA registration, with no restrictions
- Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in oncology
- Experience in rural or remote nursing is highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
