You will be living and working in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, about 595 kilometres from Perth. The town has plenty of historical architecture, with many buildings dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries! It offers a wide range of activities and attractions that cater to various interests, from exploring its rich mining history to enjoying outdoor adventures. The location is a fascinating destination for those looking to experience the heart of the Australian outback.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with renal diseases, and coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Provide advanced clinical guidance for managing symptoms and complications of renal conditions.
- Lead and support the nursing staff in delivering high-quality renal care.
- Provide specialised nursing care to patients undergoing renal replacement therapy, including haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
To be eligible for the position, you must have the following:
- Current AHPRA registration, with no restrictions
- Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in a renal setting
- Experience in rural or remote nursing is highly regarded
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
