As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Group Manager - Controls where your role will primarily involve designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining PLC-based automation and controls systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Control Systems using Allen-Bradley CompactLogix processors and Citect SCADA and other SCADA products such as Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA
- Maintain existing Control Systems employing various platforms, including Allen-Bradley (Logix and SLC500), Siemens S7, and Red Lion Modular Controller
- Develop communication systems utilizing Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, HART protocol, CANbus, and various HMI systems
- Apply knowledge in electrical engineering, covering power distribution, control circuit schematic diagrams, electrical protection systems, network communications, and VFD configuration
- Prepare comprehensive control system design documentation, including specifications, control philosophy, I/O lists, cause and effect, and scopes of work
- Provide technical support to the Operations Group, encompassing continuous improvement, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and fault finding
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent technical experience.
- A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing, integrating, testing and commissioning PLC-based automation and Control Systems.
- Proficient with Rockwell Automation RSLogix 5000/500 software and Citect SCADA
- Effective organisational and time management capabilities with a keen focus on detail.
- Experience in FAT and SAT
- Strong technical skills in PLC and RTU programming
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Australian Drivers Licence
